"Then, biglang sinabe, 'You wanna try? Just P35 only.' Di ko naman kasi napansin yong nasa baba na cooler. Ang napansin ko lang yong hawak niya na di ko naman na nga nabasa ang nakasulat. Kasi nga nag-alok na siya." She continued, "Yon pala nagtitinda siya ng Omu Rice. Eh di napabili ako tas sabay sabe 'can I take a picture with you?' Ang rare kasi na makakita ko ng ibang lahi na nagtitinda ng sarili nilang produkto sa kalye."
Kuya Omu-rice is a 23-year-old socio-political science student in his country. He is currently working on the country for his thesis about lowering the age of criminal liability in the Philippines. He has been selling the popular Japanese food on the busy streets of Quezon City for almost a week.
ABS-CBN News was able to locate Kuya Omu-rice on Tuesday morning, June 27, on Aurora Boulevard in Quezon City.
Kuya Sawa revealed that the reason why he's selling rice was, "I'm also interested in support for street children. This is not for making a living."
Recently, Dianne's post has garnered more than 55,000 reactions and 21,000 shares. After on, the followers of Kuya Omu-rice's Facebook page grew to 89,000.
