President Duterte vowed to be unrelenting in his administration’s
fight against illegal drugs, despite extensive criticisms against the President’s
war on drugs that thousands of innocent Filipinos are also affected.
The continued illegal drug war was Duterte’s first point in his
second State of the Nation Address at the Batasang Pambansa recently.
Earlier today in his SONA, he point out about the war on the
illegal drug will definitely continue.
“The fight will be unrelenting… despite international and local pressures, the fight will not stop,” Duterte said. He also warned drug criminals that they must stop because the alternative is either hell or jail.”
On the other hand, Duterte mentioned the Armed Forces of the
Philippines that it must be provided with the complete facilities and materials
in the AFP Medical Center. He also added about a possibility of a mutiny if the
Armed Forces will not be given attention about their medical needs.
The President then called Secretary Ubial’s attention to change the
procedure otherwise, the President will change her.
“Change the procedure because I will change you.”
Lots of issues the President wanted to focus with and are very
serious on implementing it one by one during his term.
The question now is, will it be possible to accomplish it for the
entire year? Well, let us wait and see until next SONA.
