Agnes Tuballes immediately went to police Criminal Investigation and Detection Group office to clear up her name after her identity surfaced to media relating her as illegal recruiter to a slain-victim Joanna Demafelis, who was murdered and her body found in the freezer in Kuwait.
The alleged recruiter lamented GMA network for letting her identity came into public scrutiny without prior investigation about her whereabouts. She explained further on her participation sending Demafelis to Kuwait. The process was described as referral to the agency.
Tuballes admitted to working for Our Lady of Mount Carmel E-Global before she became a domestic worker in Hong Kong from 2013 to 2016, during the time when Demafelis was sent to Kuwait.
