POPE PRAISES NORTH AND SOUTH KOREAN EFFORTS TO ENJOIN WINTER OLYMPICS

North and South Korean officials finally met for decades in waiting. The Winter Olympics set aside the political gap and instill the boundary to enjoin in the Summit of Winter Olympics held at  Pyeongchang, South Korea.

Pope Francis praised the Pyeongchang Olympics stated that the sports “build bridges between countries in conflict and give a valid contribution to peace.”

Francis during the Paralympics delivered speech that the paralympic athletes served as an “examples of courage, perseverance and tenacity in not letting limitations have the last word.” He offered prayers “for peace and joy for all.”
