Senate President Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III recently announced Jiggy Manicad as a prospective senatorial candidate under PDP-Laban party. After the PDP-Laban announced Manicad was included the line up, he gave up all his shows at his mother network, GMA news and current affairs.
Jiggy in its 23 years as a journalist, he also believed that he had already to render public service and he hopes that his supporters will still stay with him as he try to join the next level of public service, though he did clamped to as senatorial bets.
Jiggy expressed his gratitude to the public and bid farewell to his shows on GMA Network. He also used to have Quick Response Team and 24 Oras Weekend. He, then, expressed his gratitude for the trust, integrity and credibility he earned as a journalist.
