LIBERAL PARTY ASKS MAR ROXAS TO RUN FOR SENATE SEAT 2019 ELECTIONS

The Liberal Party (LP) admitted that they had not personally discussed the plan for the party to encourage Mar Roxas to run in the senatorial race in 2019 elections but revealed that some representatives from the Catholic Church, sociocivic organizations and other groups with issues on the policies of Duterte administration had talked with Roxas to consider re-running for the 2019.

Sen. Bam Aquino publicly opened that they are looking for new names for the slate in 2019 elections but they are prodding for Roxas to take the final slate in the 12 bets in LP.

Aquino is the only opposition in the SWS survey who placed in the magic 12 ranks 14th-19th spot in the poll.

“I think people are looking not only for old faces and old names. They are also looking for new faces and new names, and maybe we might see this as the new face of the opposition,” Aquino said.
