Presidential spokesman Harry Roque said that the Communist Party of the Philippines-New People's Army (CPP-NPA), are not yet a terrorist group until a court order being released referring them as terrorist organization, thus, vented President Duterte's Proclamation No. 374 declaring the group as terrorists.
Despite the order of United States and the European Union labeled CPP-NPA as terrorist organization, Palace said further that there is no need for reconciliation until legal action from court declares.
Senior Deputy Executive Secretary Menardo Guevarra reiterated that the PH government has no plans to withdraw the petition to declare CPP-NPA as terrosist group despite the President's remarks to restore peace negotiations.
