BONGBONG HITS BACK THE PERSISTENCE OF ROBREDO TO USE 25% IN THE RECOUNT AS "MISLEADING"

Bongbong Marcos slammed Vice President Leni Robredo's persistence to use the 25% threshold on the manual recount of the contested 2016 Vice-Presidential elections. He added the requested recounting basis has no applications on any electoral laws in the PH and called it "Misleading".

The motion filed by Robredo was junked by the Presidential Electioral Tribunal (PET) on April 10 and the motion for reconsideration was also junked cited the same resolution to apply 25% recounting of votes.

Marcos hereby cited Comelec Resolution No. 16-0600 that the 25-percent shading threshold was adopted by the poll body en banc "during the judicial recount and revision of ballots in election protest".
