The Catholic Bishops' Conference of the Philippines (CBCP) condemned the murder of Tuguegarao Priest Father Mark Ventura, after officiating a mass. Investigation revealed that the perpetrators of the crime were in riding in tandem.
"We are totally shocked and in utter disbelief to hear about the brutal killing of Fr. Mark Ventura, Catholic priest of the Archdiocese of Tuguegarao," the CBCP said in a statement.
"We condemn this evil act!" it added.
