Commission on Elections Spokesman James Jimenez defended the reports smeared that there are poll precincts came opened late.
Jimenez clarifies, “I would like to explain to you just because a place has failed to open exactly on time, its not automatic failure. We have contingency measures…So, if you opened late then you will close late. The voting hours will slide."
But flaunted that “There are no reports of untoward incident, but we are continuing to monitor the other places nationwide.”
