PH INTRODUCES UNIFIED AND SINGLE NATIONAL ID SYSTEM, COLLATING ID's BEARING THE SAME INFORMATION

Laguna Rep. Sol Aragones, the author of the House of Representatives version of single national identification system said the there is ongoing consultation for the quality features of the card. 

The Senate has ratified and adopted the bicameral conference committee version of the bill seeking to establish a national identification system for the Philippines.

The bill seeks to harmonize, integrate, and interconnect of the redundancy of government ID system bearing the same information and it will be known as Philippine Identification System or PhilSys.
