AFP SHOTS DEAD 5 MAUTE MEMBERS IN LANAO DEL SUR MILITARY OPERATION

The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) killed five Maute militants during offensive operation in Lanao del Sur. Two of the casualties were identified as Arimudin Banser and Zaman Ukor both followers of Owayda Benito Marohombsar, alias Abu Dar.

Col. Romeo Brawner Jr., Joint Task Force Ranao the offensive was launched after months of surveillance to neutralize the remaining members of the Maute group.
