DE LIMA CALLS OUT CATHOLIC LEADERS SPEAK OUT AGAINST PRIESTS KILLED IN DUTERTE's WATCH

Known and fierce critic Senator Leila de Lima called out the Catholic Church leaders to speak out and fight for the slain priests. She lamented the time that the leaders of the church, knowing the country is majority holds the faith should protest against the irrelevancy of the killings instead of being passive, especially President Rodrigo Roa Duterte has lashed out the clergymen and accusing few crimes against the church.

"For a predominantly Catholic country, there seems to be a growing sentiment among the people I have spoken to that the Roman Catholic Church is slowly allowing itself to fall into irrelevancy," de Lima.
