OPPOSITION AND FIERCE CRITICS SLAMS DUTERTE FOR "HINDIpendence DAY"

Simultaneous protests during the celebration of Independence Day from the opposition and fierce critics of President Duterte rallied criticizing the recent economic and human rights direction of what they called under its patriarchal and dictatorship leadership.

Women activists gathered in Manila Rizal Park marking out that Philippine government did not fight to protect the country from the aggression of the China claiming islands that are still disputed, considering those are belong to the PH exclusive economic zone.

In Liwasang Bonifacio, hundreds of protesters despite the downpour cried out that the independence is fake calling it "HINDIndepence Day".

Tindig Pilipinas, a coalition opposed to the Duterte administration, gathered in University of the Philippines protesting the recent economic condition of the country like the implementation of the TRAIN Law, affecting the influx of increasing prices of basic commodities.
