26 people died trapped in the wildfire across the region of Mati, Greece

26 people were found dead in a resort town in Mati, Greece holding arms together would likely protecting each other as the wildfire gone wild while trying to escape as the fire glazed stronger.

"We assume they became trapped by the fire because it was so strong and so fast," Haris Malimagolou, a member of the Hellenic Red Cross.
