BAYAN PARTYLIST: "WE ARE NOT INTERESTED TO SEE DUTERTE ON HIS SONA"

Bagong Alyansang Makabayan (Bayan) Secretary General Renato Reyes reacted to President Rodrigo Duterte's intention on not meeting the protesters after his State of the Nation Address (SONA). Last year, Duterte went out to meet the protesters outside the House of Representatives.

Reyes said that their bloc is also not interested to meet the president in the area allotted for their protests.

Special Assistant to the President, Christopher "Bong" Go confirmed that Duterte will not meet with militants after SONA.
