PNP COOPERATED WITH SENATE INQUIRY OVER P1.89 BILLION PURCHASE OF MAHINDRA PATROL CARS IN 2015








The Philippine National Police swears to will cooperate with the Senate inquiry over the controversial P1.89-billion purchase of Mahindra patrol vehicles in 2015. The Commission on Audit had tagged this with red-alert due irregularities.


Sen. Grace Poe directed through Senate Resolution No. 777 to counter-checked the legality of the procurement.

“We are ready and willing to cooperate in any Senate investigation, and we will provide the necessary documents regarding the acquisition of the vehicles,” PNP Director General Oscar Albayalde
