ROQUE: SOME CATHOLIC PRIESTS ARE POSSIBLY WORKING WITH COMMUNIST REBELS

After the Palace had confirmed that they initiated talks with the Catholic Church and other religious leaders, Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque hinted that there are possibilities that some of the clergymen are working with communist rebels and conniving to dismantle present administration and to oust President Rodrigo Duterte.

Because some of the Catholic leaders could not accept Duterte’s victory and chose to conspire with the Communist Party of the Philippines (CPP) and the New People’s Army (NPA) to seek the President’s ouster.

“Well, you know that the tirades of the Church started when their candidate lost the election. Let’s be frank. We are all Christians. Many from the Church cannot accept that their candidate lost,” Roque added.
