SPEAKER ALVAREZ seeks to CANCEL the MIDTERM ELECTIONS to focused CHACHA

If the administration is adept to change the government intpo Federalism, House Speaker Pantaleon Alvarez also supported the initiative of the government to haul governance to regionalism. 

Alvarez also wants to cancel the midterm elections in 2019 for the lawmakers to focused on the arguments in the necessary changes in the government through the charter change.

“How can we have quorum? Of course congressmen will campaign – it’s elections, it’s survival. So how can we work on proposal to revise the Constitution?”, Alavarez added.
