Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana is now in Moscow, Russia to discuss Russian counterpart Sergey Shoygu for a possible purchase of submarines and helicopters.
Lorenzana was invited by Russian Defense Minister and General of the Army Sergey Shoygu to address the needs of two countries to cooperate when comes to military training and equipment advancement in the Philippines.
Last year, Lorenzana and Shoygu signed an Agreement for Military-Technical Cooperation between the two countries, provisions including research, production support, exchange of experts and training of personnel for joint programs.
