President Rodrigo Duterte is ready to wage war against China if they will insist to drill for oil and other mineral resources in the contested area in the West Philippine Sea, along with the Exclusive Economic Zone of the Philippines.
The South China Sea claims of China, along seating, is also the West Philippine Sea EEZ, has brought commotion between claimants but the president promised to assert his authority over the disputed Islands, imposing the international arbitral ruling.
The President said that ‘There will be trouble’ if they continue to assault our country by hindering our sovereign rights.
“I assert, what, oil. If you monopolize it, there will be trouble, (Uranium reserves),” Mr. Duterte said.
