Presiding Judge Trese Wenceslao, Nueva Ecija, Palayan Regional Trial Court (RTC) Branch 40 has dismissed the murder cases of Makabayan bloc lawmakers and issued an order to revoked the warrant of arrest filed by the PNP against former Gabriela Women’s party-list representative and current National Anti-Poverty Commission lead convenor Liza Maza, former Anakpawis representative and former agrarian reform secretary Rafael Mariano and former Bayan Muna representatives Satur Ocampo and Teddy Casiño.
The court said that the cases filed failed to establish pieces of evidence to indict the alleged suspects of murder committed 12 years ago.
