The Vatican has rolled out the recommendation of Pope Francis that all gay children should seek a Psychiatrist during his one of visits. The Catholic Church believed that being gay is not a mental illness or homosexual tendencies should be qualified for mental help.
In an interview, the pope immediately said that homosexual tendencies were an "error of fatherhood or motherhood". But the Vatican almost rebuked their pope statement that gay is not a falsehood but should not "change the thoughts of the Holy Father".
Francis' trip to Ireland was full of controversies amid accusations that he just leave behind all the allegations of homosexuality and sexual abuses from high-ranking priests all over the world, like a prominent US cardinal Theodore McCarrick.
