President Rodrigo Duterte has confirmed that he will be receiving 2 Cobra Helicopters from the King of Jordan, King Abdullah II of Hashemite Kingdom. The helicopters will be awarded on July 2019 since the pilot operating the 2nd hand warfare machinery should undergo 9 months of extensive training as per agreement.
Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana said that the Cobra choppers included features of night vision capability is helpful in the country's campaign against insurgency and terrorism.
