The Philippine Federation of the Deaf filed a complaint before the Office of the Ombudsman against Asec. Mocha Uson for another controversy, the sign language video, the groups said is offensive to their disability.
Carolyn Dagani, who had a hearing impairment and president of the Philippine Federation of the Deaf, said Uson and video blogger Drew Olivar done were nonsense but really insulting considering that the sign language was being used for supposed “Pepederalismo" promotion.
“We would like to see penalties applied if this is proven, and this would be an example for other [violators],” she added.
