Senate President Pro Tempore Ralph Recto in his statement asked Duterte administration to be calm amidst the criticism and learn from it as it helps the government officials serve the people better.
He also defended the President as the country don't need a change of regime but rather refocusing government priorities to better address the public, said, “People should rally behind the President and let him finish a term he won fair and square. There is no need for a regime change, only a refocusing of government priorities. It must re-pivot to the gut issues of jobs, prices, income.”
The Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) ensures their full support to the President, despite the hint of Sen. Trillanes to lead possibly the coup d' etat.
