US as top OIL PRODUCER after reclaiming NEW MEXICO, surpassing RUSSIA AND SAUDI ARABIA

The United States is about to get back as the world’s biggest oil producer after reclaiming New Mexico. The U.S. Energy Information Administration said America would “likely surpassed” Russia in June and August after they surpassed the records of Saudi Arabia.

The U.S. energy agency said that the United States produced an average of 10.9 million barrels a day in August, surpassing Russia with10.8 million barrels a day and around 10.4 million from Saudi Arabia.

U.S. passed Saudi Arabia in February for the first time in more than two decades, and this summer it topped Russia for the first time since 1999.
