Social media personality and prominent lawyer Atty. Trixie Cruz-Angeles slammed former DILG Sec. Mar Roxas for his incompetence during the Yolanda.
Cruz-Angeles also prayed for Mar Roxas defeat in the upcoming midterm elections on 2019. She stated that Roxas also failed to task the Philippine Navy to help during the crisis.
“At dahil sa incompetence mo, people died WAITING for rescue. People died for your political ambitions. People died because you took on a job for which you had no training or competence. People DIED because you did not know how to rescue them but you could only see them for what votes they could bring.” she stated.
“What you did not mention in your interview is you insisted on air transport and using the airport as a center to beginning clearing ops. Kulang kasi ang kaalaman mo kaya di mo na-appreciate yung sea forces. Ilang barko ng Navy ang naka standby to bring in heavy equipment for clearing and military personnel to do rescues and relief ops for those needing immediate assistance.” she added.
