The senate is gearing up for another round of discussions to approve the 2019 national budget. Currently, the budget sits at
P3.757 trilion and according to senator Sherwin Gatchalian, a budget this big should be discussed and analysed well.
As of now the senate is doubling their efforts in approving the said budget as they aim to finalize the budget by next week.
The current focus of this budget remains to be public infrastructure and human capital development. This higher focus on infrastructure aims to aid in economic growth, jobs, and opportunities in the countryside.
