In the eve of Valentines Day, Davao City was declared by Sen. Antonio Trillanes III as persona non-grata. Him along with the Filipino-American businesswoman Loida Nicolas-Lewis.
Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque congratulates Davao City for the declaration, happens to be the hometown of President Rodrigo Duterte.
Trillanes responded that “the truth, definitely, hurts. The people of Davao either know it but tolerate it out of fear or they’ve actually believed the lie that was fed to them that Davao City is the safest city in the world,” he said.
