The Philippine Army (PA) informed natural born Filipino applicants that the agency is now opened for recruitment of 6,100 new soldiers to strengthen public security against insurgency and terrorism.
Philippine Army spokesman Lt. Col. Louie D. Villanueva said that the allocation are for five percent for female recruits and five percent from the indigenous peoples for the activation of 10 new Infantry Battalions and one Scout Ranger Battalion (SRB).
Villanueva said training will start on June 2018. One inclusive requirements is open for High school graduates but possess technical and vocational skills needed by the Philippine Army at least 18 to 25 years old and with 5'0'' or 60 inches in height.
