Abdul Nasser Lomondot, Daesh-inspired Maute Group sub-leader was apprehended by the joint operation of the Philippine National Police (PNP) and Armed Forces of the Philippines-Joint Task Force “ZamPeLan” (Zamboanga Peninsula, Lanao), possession seized were calibre .45 pistol and a hand grenade.
Lomondot , participated in the killings of innocent Christian civilians and committed violence against female and child hostages. He perceived as then planner in Marantao, Lanao del Sur attacks. He is akin to Isnilon Hapilon an Amir of Maute-Deash in Southeast Asia region who died during the Marawi war.
Lomondot was brought to the Manila Police District (MPD) headquarters for formal processing and filing of criminal charges.
