“Akala ko ba hinamon niya ang ICC?
#DuwagDuterte
De Lima alluded to the hashtag that drifted on Twitter after
Duterte reported his choice to pull back the Philippines from the International
Criminal Court (ICC), referring to the claimed "inclination" of the
ICC prosecutor in beginning preparatory examinations into his war on drugs.
Toward the beginning of February, Duterte said he respected
the test and tested ICC Prosecutor Fatou Bensouda to research him.
The ICC said on Friday that regardless of whether the
Philippines' withdrawal would produce results in the endorsed time of one year,
it is still obliged to coordinate in the procedures.
Preparatory examinations and the consequent examination of
the ICC prosecutor can take forever and a day, in light of the court's
reputation, yet De Lima approached the ICC to act with earnestness on the
objection against Duterte on the grounds that "killings are as yet
happening."
De Lima's arraignment was again delayed on Friday as she
recorded a movement for the court to arrange the Department of Justice (DOJ) to
give her a chance to inspect their medication exchanging proof against her.
Sen. Leila De Lima, the staunchest faultfinder of Pres. Duterte, has been in
prison for over a year for 3 tallies of illicit medication exchanging, which
she called exaggerated charges. The DOJ recorded the body of evidence against
her after she started the Senate examination concerning extrajudicial killings
under the Duterte organization.
