The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) enjoined government agencies, local government units and government-owned corporations to implement daycare centers for their employees’ children under the age of 5.
DSWD Officer-in-Charge Emmanuel Leyco encourage establishments to put up a Child Development Center to ensure the safety and security of their pre-school children even as they – the parents – go about their tasks in the department, in the same way they did in their end.
Based on the Executive Order No. 340 directs National Government Agencies and Government-Owned and Controlled Corporations to Provide Day Care Services for their Employees’ Children Under Five Years of Age.
