The Liberal Party (LP) is still not satisfied with the Bureau of Customs (BOC) performance after 105 containers loaded with imported and undervalued goods from China has slipped through the Port of Manila.
BOC Commissioner Isidro Lapeña dismayed on the recent incident of BoC which only 85 containers were recovered in the operation..
The LP said that there was “no change. Corruption remains rampant at the Bureau of Customs.”
LP added the incident of P6.4 million worth of shabu was overlooked by the attending officials during the check out of the contraband. The same fate has been applied of 105 containers.
