Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III recalled Jalilo dela Torre, a labor attache in Hongkong due to the pending case and investigation filed against him in favoring another party during the accreditation.

Dela Torre is known for his strong views against human traffickers and fraudulent employment agencies. On Facebook, he revealed that the a certain "human trafficker" in Turkey "has just taken credit for my recall."
Hong Kong is home to 201,094 Filipinos, large fraction of which are domestic workers.
