URN OF MURDERED FILIPINA, 15 YEARS LATER WAS STOLEN AND SOLD TO JUNK SHOP

Maria Pilar Cruz or “Pipie” was a 35-year-old New York-based bank analyst found dead after missing for 10 months in April 2003, found stuffed in a suitcase buried under the concrete flooring in the garage of a house in Newark, New Jersey on Feb. 18, 2004.

Fifteen years later (15) her urn was stolen along with other urn, sold to a junk shop worth P1,900. The chunk worth  P400 was given to a suspect Dionisio Layson, who happened to be a former caretaker of Manila Memorial Park.

Layson surrendered to the police due to conscience and revealed there are two primary suspects Loui Alday and a certain Marvin, went to his house at Clinic Ville and told him to sell two metal urns for P1,900. Alday and Marvin still at large.
