The head of the Catholic Church in Guam Archbishop Anthony Apuron has been removed by the Vatican due to sexual abuse by act of molestation of altar boys during 1970's.
The Vatican find the Archbishop guilty of the charges sentence him in first instance stated penalties thereupon privation of the office and prohibited him a residence in the Archdiocese in Guam.
According to the Holy See that the sentence is subject to appeal and penalty would be effective once the appeal is proven null.
Co-accused former priest Louis Brouillard, who was a cleric in Guam in 1950's also being charged by the same complaint.
