Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque made the statement as Catholic Church leaders scoffed at the idea of arming priests for self-defense following the murders of three clergymen and the attempted killing of another in the last six months.
Roque reiterated unless it is approved, priests can have their guns with them provided by the law specifically life and death situation.
