Former President Benigno "Noynoy" Aquino, will not attend the SONA according to the Inter-Parliamentary and Special Affairs Bureau (IPRSAB) of the House of Representatives on Monday. Aquino will instead monitor SONA just like he did on the past two years even if he's not in the venue.
The former state leader on Wednesday said that he would rather watch President Rodrigo Duterte's third State of the Nations Address in his home than to go to the Batasang Pambansa Complex to avoid distractions and to have the privacy of his own.
“Maraming distraction, among them yung mga kabaro ninyo tatanungin what do you expect bago mag-umpisa, what do you think.
Aquino refused to give a comment after asked on what he thinks of the first two years of the previous president.
If I make a comment, sasabihin self-serving. I’d rather have the people to tell me, the people who I refer as my bosses then, what do they think kesa ‘yung ako ang magsasabi,” he ended.
