Senator Antonio Trillanes IV had double the quantity of security escorts permitted under directions, the Philippine National Police (PNP) said on Thursday.
Chief Supt. Filmore Escobal, the chief of the Police Security and Protection Group (PSPG), said that Trillanes had four security escorts previously.

This is twofold the number of escorts permitted in light of the Alunan tenet, which restrains the quantity of outfitted gatekeepers of government officials to two.
Recently, the representative said his police security detail had been returned after it was hauled out a month ago.
Trillanes uncovered a week ago that his security detail was reviewed toward the finish of June, yet the previous Navy officer guaranteed his supporters that he could deal with his own security.
Escobal said that besides police escorts, Trillanes likewise has four security escorts doled out by the military.
He said this data originated from police escorts beforehand appointed to the official.
"That’s based on the account of the PNP personnel na naka-detail din sa kaniya. Sa AFP , mayroon silang apat..." Escobal said.
“Nag-expire lang talaga ang letter order niya and during the review, we found out na sumobra na sa required na security 'yung naka-deploy kay Sen. Trillanes," he added.
