The Catholic Church cleared Jose Garcia Ataulfo of any wrong-doing and won’t face any criminal charges, despite the fact that he knew he was infected with HIV when he sexually harassed all the children he admitted to rape.
The Catholic Church has been so tolerant with this statement. The Catholic Church released this priest after he was declared no criminal charges for raping young girls below 10 years old.
After admitting that the priest had raped approximately 30 young girls whose age are between 5 to 10-years-old the Catholic Church had still acquitted him.
According to a report, a mother whose child was one of the victims sent a letter to the Pope asking to meet him in Rome to discuss the case.
Unfortunately, the Vatican responded and declared that "the matter is closed."
Father Ataulfo admitted the accusation, for sexually abusing the indigenous children from Oaxaca a state in southern Mexico.
Because of the influential power of the Catholic Church in Mexico, the said priest will no longer face any criminal charges, especially for the crimes he did to the children.
