NOYNOY QUESTIONS THE CRIMINAL CHARGES HE RECEIVED FROM NBI DUE P3.5 BILLION DENGVAXIA CONTROVERSY

After the Senate found probable cause to file cases against Former president Benigno Aquino III for his involvement in the Dengvaxia controversy. Another government entity files the same manifesto, National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) criminally charged Pnoy over the P3.5-billion procurement of the dengue vaccine Dengvaxia.

The NBI earlier recommended the filing of technical malversation charges against Aquino, former Health secretary Janette Garin and former Budget chief Florencio Abad before the Office of the Ombudsman over the multi-billion vaccinie purchase.

The NBI said Aquino "declared the use of savings from the 2015 Mutual Benefit Personnel Fund and use the same to 'augment' a non-existent anti-dengue immunization program of the Department of Health."
