The Philippine General Hospital (PGH) refuted the video posted by a veteran broadcaster Ramon Tulfo showing an ER doctor, Jay Guerrero refused to treat a child being bumped by Tulfo's driver at one of the busiest streets in Navotas.
Guerrero said that it was Tulfo who disrupted their duty by videotaping while they treated the bumped child. The PGH administration said that the ER doctor continued to treat the child despite the continued videotaping.
"The doctors' strict implementation of the PGH policy prohibiting the video recording of the minor victim is in accordance with the right to privacy of the minor victim and the mother as provided under the Data Privacy Law," PGH said in a statement.
