President Rodrigo Durterte has arrived in Israel. He was invited for a 4-day official visit and was the first Philippine president to come in the Holy Land upon a courtesy invitation since diplomatic relations were established in 1957.
Right after he landed in the airport, Duterte immediately made his way to the Ramada Hotel in Jerusalem, where he met with the local Filipino community. He took the chance to thank the Filipinos for taking our country as a refuge during the Holocaust and supporting Israel's independence.
