In replacement of slain Isnilon Hapilon, the Abu Sayyaf leader who was killed in the siege of Marawi, the Islamic State in Southeast Asia has announced a new “emir” identified as Abu Dar, 40, an ASG sub-leader in the terrorist network in Southeast Asia.
Army Maj. Ronald Suscano, spokesman of the 1st Infantry Division said that the new emir is a Maranao, reportedly with Hapilon during the Marawi seige but slipped out during carrying large amount of looted money. He operating the hinterlands.
