A video went viral when an old man accused of touching a woman’s thigh while riding on the train at Sri Petaling LRT line. Netizens slammed uploader for posting it online and wrongly accused the elderly of doing the act.
Ebit defended the old man saying he knows the man, said it was unfair for the latter to be accused publicly and put the family into shame. The post drew more than 980 comments and was shared more than 9,500 times, with more than 18,000 likes. He also thank Ramish, the witness of the incident who came to save the man from indignant disgrace and humiliation.
The old man is a former high ranking official, spending his time after retirement by going around talking about the religion, Islam.
Netizens were furious how the people right now spent their time spreading slander on social media accounts.
