The Commission on Higher Education (CHED) Central Office received a bomb treat. The employees immediately vacated the area but it turns out that the threat was a false alarm.
The bomb squad of the Quezon City Police Department immediately deployed personnel to inspect the compound but it was declared negative.
The bomb threat came out few hours after the implementation of RA 10931 or Universal Access to Quality Education Act attended by Senators Ralph Recto, Bam Aquino, Sonny Angara and Representatives Karlo Nograles and Evelina Escudero.
