Senator AntonioTrillanes IV on Wednesday said he has sent recordings and videos of President
Rodrigo Duterte's talks and speeches to the International Criminal Court (ICC),
which prior declared that it will start a preparatory examination into the administration's
drug war.
"Lahat ng mga speeches niya early on when he just assumed
office. Lahat ng direct quotations yun, di pwede mai-spin yun," Trillanes said in an interview.
The opposition representative included that he has additionally
submitted transcripts from Senate investigation into charged extrajudicial
killings, where self-admitted contract killers Edgar Matobato and Arturo Lascañas

"Ang nasubmit natin, mga transcripts from the Senate investigations and very material siya," he said.
"And at the proper time siguro, kung magsisimula na sila ng
investigation, baka lumabas din lang itong mga testigong itong nagtatago sa
ngayon."
Trillanes said he is sure that the ICC's preparatory examination will
continue into an investigation.
"Oo naman dahil kung ibabasura ito, noon pa lang. Ito
nagbigay na sila ng sensyales na they have enough to proceed and yung iba, ano
na lang yun, formalization na lang ng mga testimony and other documents,"
he said. "I am confident na magtutuloy-tuloy ito."
Legal advisor Jude
Sabio prior said in the 77-page correspondence to the ICC that Duterte had
"over and over, perpetually and consistently" carried out violations
against mankind and that under him, executing drug suspects and different
hoodlums has progressed toward becoming "best practice" in the quest
for his medication war.
Duterte, in the
interim, has said a few times that he is prepared to confront trial after the
ICC reported that it will inspect violations purportedly dedicated under his
organization's war on drugs
