Former President and now Speaker Gloria Macapagal Arroyo has promised to help President Rodrigo Duterte agenda in the House of Representatives to carry out legislation and expedite laws for economy's growth.
“I am extremely honored to have been supported by my colleagues at the House of Representatives to be their new Speaker,” she said after she replaced Pantaleon Alvarez as House Speaker hours before Duterte delivered his third State of the Nation Address.
